Welcome to our Site

The mission Kaitlyn's Hope is to enhance the experience of a hospital stay for children by providing a tote bag of activities they can do in their hospital bed.

About Us

Kaitlyn's Hope is in loving memory of Kaitlyn Boehm.  Kaitlyn lost her fight to an unknown illness September 1, 2014 at age 17. She was a very active, energetic teenager. She loved playing sports, playing bass guitar, and loved volunteering with children. She became ill February 2013 and despite the efforts she was never diagnosed with an illness. On August 30, 2014 she suffered a heart attack and was on life support for 3 days. Her health declined rapidly and most her organs had went into failure. Her parent's made the hardest decision of their lives and had her removed from life support the evening of September 1, 2014.
